Brake torque is used as a prosecution then it comes to braking conflict. To save things easy, imagine driving a high powered FWD or RWD vehicle where altogether portion of of the execution is transmitted to lonely 1 axle. What happens? We reach earsplitting wheel spin, loss of traction and condensed disaffect travelled. Similarly, if we have too much brake torque concerning 1 axle, we perform too much force at the belly of the vehicle, resulting in a nosedive! This along with potentially leads to longer overall stopping distances due to stomach and rear tyres not sharing the brake load proportionately.
